This is a really nice old silver Yemeni prayer box or amulet, known as Hirz. Interesting light floral arabesque desing on front as well as worn gilding. It is filled, but does not open. Good condition, back shows signs of use and being worn with other necklaces. 2 1/2" wide 2" tall (including loops.)
