Very striking recent embroidered dowry textile from Sindh, Pakistan. Probably not more than 10 to 20 years in age, its notible for the fineness of work, quality of material, and exceptional rendering of design. Worked in Silk and Cotton on a cotton foundation this piece is very soft to touch. Great condition, a couple small snags in the embroidery, unfinished edges are typical of this type of piece.
