Nice mid 20th century dress front from the Tharparkar area of southern Pakistan. Bordering the desert that falls between Sindh and Rajasthan are a number of groups that produce brillant embroidered clothing, bags, and other small textiles. Really wonderful for display on a wall or easily altered into a wearable piece.
