Vintage embroidered wedding sash, Bokano, from Sindh or Gujarat. This type of embroidery was created by the groom's wife's family and worn by the groom during the wedding ceremony. These are embroidered in too pieces that are similar but rarely identical and worn around the neck. This piece is is in good condition and is probably in the 20-30 year old range.
