Beautiful vintage Rabari full length skirt from Gujarat, India. Saturated, handwoven, red ground cloth does a wonderful job of accenting the heavy embroidery. Peacocks, flowering vases, and dancing figures are the main motifs. Would appear to be the work of an embroider from the same family as skirt 100. The bottom band is series of alternating striped fabric with on wide band of quilted floral design. The waist band is handwoven mushru fabric
These are wearable as is or with slight modification, however they are quite sought after as collectible textiles. Roughly 20 or so years old, exceptional hand embroidery, expect some signs of authentic wear (small stains, wear marks etc.)

Waist: 21" if completely closed, as is traditional there is slit about 6" long that allows the skirt to open wider.
