This is an elegant single Rajasthani silver pendant. These were traditionally worn singularly or in threes and fives on necklaces. They are decorative, but like most "decorative" jewelry they served as both a status symbol due to their value of silver and as a protective device for the wearer. Could be strung as a necklace or used to adorn many other things.
