Lovely Lapis Lazuli necklace hand made by displaced Afghani Refugees in Northern Pakistan. The necklace is made from Lapis found in the mountains of Afghanistan and most of the coins are no longer in circulation. The metal is called "gillet" and is mixed nonprecious alloy metal. This beautiful necklace design would be a great piece to wear anytime!
