Beaded Gul-i-peron (dress flower)/ amulet used to embellish clothing and animal trappings in Northern Pakistan and parts of Afghanistan. Each beaded disk is made by hand, in traditional designs and colors; they are usually used to cover seams and to decorate ornate garments and bags. Most date from about 1960-1980, but there are a few that are newer or older mixed in with the inventory.
