Very fine old embroidered wedding sash, Bokano, from the Meghwar group in Sindh, Pakistan. This type of embroidery was created by the groom's wife's family and worn by the groom during the wedding ceremony. These are embroidered in two pieces that are similar but rarely identical and worn around the neck. This piece is is in excellent condition and is probably in the 50-60 year old range, very nice design work!
