Early to mid 20th century embroidered Thalposh from Sindh, southern Pakistan. Cotton with cotton embroidery and backing cloth and mirrored shisha work. Unusual format with asymmetric embroidery and unusual color combination. Possibly Sammat group from Tharparkar region. Obvious staining / discoloration at the top and embroidery worn in some areas, otherwise in good condition.
